Bullpen Ribs & BBQ is Hiring a Hotel General Manager Near Atlanta, GA

A Limited-service hotel in downtown Atlanta is looking for a general manager to clean up the hotel, raise the guest scores quickly, improve employee morale, & manage the labor in line with company standards.

Duties

- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Manage and coordinate all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service throughout the hotel
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with the sales team to attract new business and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Prepare budgets and financial reports, ensuring adherence to financial goals
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

- Previous experience in hotel management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, housekeeping standards, and maintenance protocols
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of human resources practices, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with revenue management strategies is preferred
- Professional phone etiquette
